AgriConnect Knowledge Series: Evidence for Better Jobs in Farming and Agribusiness

Creating enough productive jobs is one of today’s most urgent challenges. Agriculture is a sector which already employs millions of people and has strong potential to absorb more—but only if it can become more efficient, profitable, and market-oriented. The Development Economics Planet Lab and the Institute for Economic Development have partnered with AgriConnect, a World Bank Group initiative to transform smallholder farming, create jobs, and strengthen global food security.
Duration: 1-hour per module
Training typology: webinar

What do we offer?

The AgriConnect evidence ecosystem brings together a suite of knowledge products that translate curated evidence on transforming farming and agribusinesses into the design of agriculture projects. Through a monthly Knowledge Series webinar,  masterclass and e-learning, it fosters dialogue between researchers and operational teams and highlights what works and what scales. Aligned with the World Bank Group’s AgriConnect Initiative, it supports the design of interventions across the Six Scalable Solutions.
